I'm Rosemary and I thank you for your interest in my beads. I recently relocated to Colorado and am so excited to
be in our new home with a dedicated glass studio.
I grew up in Santa Barbara and spent most of my life there. I often reflect back on the beauty and culture of my
hometown and I believe much of my creative expression is influenced by this seaside town.
I began making beads in the summer of 2003. From the beginning it seemed all I wanted to learn was how to
make flowers. I became fascinated and curious as to whether I could create shading in the petals for more
interest. My sister is a watercolor artist and her work has greatly influenced me. Over the last year and a half I
have spent a lot of time experimenting for special effects, and am growing daily as I work in this most fascinating
medium. Most of the florals I do are simple 3-4 petal flowers. I guess my main focus at this time is playing with
color to create watercolor effects and just making little, pretty beads that I would love to wear myself.
I'm basically self taught, with guidance from the internet forums. I give special credit to Wet Canvas as that is
where I saw my first lampwork bead and there I got the information to begin my journey of working with glass.
I feel I've just begun this journey and have so much to learn! Each day I bounce out of bed after a full night of
bead dreams, ready to light the torch and begin a new day.

up. It's wonderful to be somewhat organized
and indoors. What a difference!
I'm trying to get my creative juices flowing
again. You'd think after so much time off from
making beads that I'd be full of new ideas.
